Meet the heart and soul behind Paddy's Cinnabuns. Happily married for over 40 years, Patrick takes care of all the kitchen and baking duties while Karen takes care of media related matters and other operational issues. As a team, together we are passionate about creating delicious cinnamon rolls and we both have a deep respect for preparing a high quality product for our community.
My name is Patrick and my journey began decades ago where I discovered that the kitchen was not just a place to bake…it was a meditative space, a happy place, and a passion that would follow me for life. After a fulfilling, lengthy career in corporate Finance and Treasury, I retired in 2026 and gave up spreadsheets for baking sheets. I am now a certified home cottage baker who has chosen to share my passion for preparing fresh, hand-rolled, small-batch, cinnamon buns using the finest ingredients.
You may ask why the name Paddy’s Cinnabuns? Nothing too complicated! Growing up playing various sports in the southern suburbs of Chicago, Illinois my coaches called me Paddy. The name stuck, and today, it stands for the same teamwork, dedication, and community spirit I bring to every single bake.
